Okin & Adams LLP is pleased to announce that George Y. Niño has become Of
Counsel to the firm. George is a
graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School.
He joins Okin & Adams after more than 24 years of practice with prominent
firms in Texas and California as well as with the United States Treasury
Department and Justice Department.
George is a skilled litigator who has tried more than 25 jury trials in federal
and state courts. George has
experience in all types of commercial litigation representing both plaintiffs
and defendants.

Ruth E. Piller joined
Okin & Adams LLP in January 2013.
Ruth joined Okin & Adams as Of Counsel to the firm after
18 years of practice at other Houston area firms.
Her practice focuses on corporate reorganization and
restructuring as well as litigation and appellate work.
Prior to beginning her legal practice, Ruth was a
reporter with the Houston
Chronicle.
Ruth is a graduate of the South Texas College of Law and
has an LLM from the University of Houston Law Center.
